Are the bolts suppose to be adjusted to the same length or is one bolt cranked more than the other bolt? (2002 ranger supercab 4x4 )

They will be different. You have to measure from ground to fender on level surface to make sure the truck is level after adjusting. just crank them equally and you should be in good shape and only have to tweak it a little. use the link posted above for all the details.

From the factory they come uneven. This is die to driver weight and fuel tank weight they adjust for when building the truck.

That is why you need to measure each side to get each side exact. So crank one bolt measure. Crank the other bolt measure repeat till your satisfied.

maxed both sides out on mine. Passenger side is a hair taller but i don't care. I had the driver side maxed out and the passenger side not. I didn't like how the driver side t-bar was taking all the weight of the front end so i maxed out both so they can wear out equally. Ball joints are fine and no suspensions problems. It may be a little lower on the driver side but i don't care. Its only less then a half inch off from the driver side. If you got a eye to see that then your amazing.
