Lets take the intimidation out of it for you. Shy of needing someone older (in most cases) to trust in aligning it properly due to experience.
All an I beam is just a realllllly long lower control arm..

You would have to swap to a 4x4 chassis in order to do the 4x conversion. The front engine cross member doesnt have the bump in it for the necessary room needed for the front differential. Thats why I went with the thought of another frame in order to do a full frame up restoration and build it up by boxing in the frame and ladder frame areas for both a 34 gal fuel tank and as well durability. I'm one of those that believes the suspension should flex not the frame so much...
