Default Rear Shocks ?'s

Yo'

I have had "super springs" on my truck since 2002. Its an 01
2 wd xlt ext cab flare side. 96k. Would new rear shocks be
a waist of cash? Put new fronts on last oct.

Even though there 16 years old I dont suspect they have
moved too much.

Advise please...

TIA

OEM shocks with "expected use" are designed for about 22-25K but because it is such a progressive loss most people dont notice the wear and tear on a shock/strut until someone shows them or it fails..

At 16 yrs old.. id hardly say they could be in their best condition.. just a wild guess tho

Yeah Man,

I was getting dirt for a couple of houses that i own.
The dude at the yard was surprised how much it could he could
take. I just asked him to be "gentle". He was and other than
the 1/2 tank of gas and the set of brake pads it took to get
it up the hill and back down the other side all was well...

He did 3 yards in 3 trips.. FYI: 1 cubic yard of
moderatly moist soil = 1 ton.. Rugged little truck..

I got him brand new in April of 2001. He had 7
miles on him when I pulled in the driveway from the dealer.
Took him to a joint right away that had a 10% coupon
for a Duratech spray in bed liner, Sport Master tauno cover.
all the plastic drip stuff. Got the springs off epay from
a guy that had silverado (same spring) for 150. He didnt
like the ride.. Must have had a bad kidney... I luv it !

you'll need a free account at Imgur.com as photobucket for many is shutting off 3rd party sharing.., you will basically post the link to a photo as you would cutting and pasting a URL address...
