Default Need new rear leaf springs

So I noticed that one of the leafs in the pack is broke. I can't afford brand new ford leaf packs but can go the after market route. since there is a shop that makes leafs/has some in stock mere me. I believe I have the "middle of the road" leaf springs under my truck. What should I tell the company so I don't get the weaker springs? Btw I plan on replacing both sides.

your's right now are the 3+overload spring pack, right? if memory serves, those are like 1450lb springs, but i'm not too sure lol. not sure what they are going to ask you as far as specks goes though.

also, i used jc whitney for a new set a while back. a little over $200 shipped. i love them... just putting that out there lol

Look at your door tag and see what springs you have. Then provide that along with the weight capacity for the springs to the shop.

@robert I believe you are right on the number of leafs. I guess I'll just have to call and find out on what specs they want

if you have the need for more capacity, i'm sure they will oblige. or if you don't care and want a softer ride... all up to you! as long as the springs are arched for proper ride height.

According to your door tag you have "K" springs - 2600 lb capacity.
