Re: Ranger 2010 Alignment problems.....
Good alignments begin with (correctly) inspecting the steering and suspension parts for wear and replacing as/if needed. Next, it's never bad to check ride height, and after that, verify correct tire pressure. A good tech *should* do this by default, but. The optimal time for the alignment is when new tires are just installed, and an undesirable time is when the used tires have certain wear damage as this has some potential to affect the alignment. A good shop should give you before and after specs as asked for earlier, especially with you flagging a concern, and in your case, maybe go for a quick ride with you to verify the concern.
*FWIW, the shop me uses does a before/after drive test to verify, if present, any anomaly and that the alignment has corrected it, 100% inspection, provides data printouts, has been in business for 33+ years and when I scheduled an appointment last week, the wait is 5 weeks and he's got customer cars in a secure area, dropped off early, in hopes by the customer that there will be a no-show. His advertisement is word-of-mouth and customer reports on yelp, which are near 5-star. On that note, you may want to research another shop other than the Ford dealer. Word of mouth and social media go a long ways.
