Default ball joints mevotech vs moog

Getting ready to replace my ball joints and saw mevotech is the mid grade and seems to have a sturdy looking boot. Moog is 2 times the cost but has a blue weird boot. Is the moog worth the extra money or is the mevotech just fine. What ball joints did you guys use in your replacements?

Which one has a zirc fitting for regreasing? Go with that one. If they both do/don't, go with the cheaper one.

Side note: If the ball joint doesn't have a zirc, fill that puppy up with grease before you install it. They never put enough in there and they will fail that much faster. It's cheaper for the manufacturer and they get the possible bonus of another sale in the future since you might still actually have the vehicle. :-|

ohh cool yeah tehy both have grease fittings which is why i was wondering if the moog could actually last twice as long when they both have grease fittings.

I bought aftermarket ball joints for my 01 ranger and had an issue with the ball joint not fitting correctly so I used another brand. The second brand worked great but the boot kept coming off because of how they sit on the truck. I finally broke down and bought ford ball joints. The ford ball joints are zirc free and are tied on both ends with wire. Haven't had any problems since.

lol looks like moog and the lack of zirc fitting is what makes the ford ball joints fail soo quickly soo thats definentaly something id like to have.
