Default Springs / Shackles. I am confused as hell.

My truck needs new shackles so I ordered these.

http://www.amazon.com/Dorman-722-001...0_SR160%2C160_

I also need front bushings and since the springs are rusted to shit, I am thinking of just replacing them with these or similar

http://www.amazon.com/Dorman-929-202...af+springs#Ask

Where I am confused is on the shackles. There is a metal sleeve bushing separate that would appear to fit inside an outer bushing........there seems to be to many parts?

Well, no. The bushings come pressed into the shackles already. That separate piece may come for like a rust-repair kit where you replace the bushing in the leaf and replace the shackle + bushings.

Only thing I can think of.

There's not too many parts. The metal sleeve bushing goes in the EYE of the leaf spring. You remove the old bushing from the eye if needed.

That Dorman kit is what I used on my 1999. I changed the hangers too.

Positive that the "extra" piece goes in the leaf spring end.
