Default Torsion bar replacement

So I haven't really seen anything explaining how to replace torsion bars. All I can find is stuff about cranking them. My repair manual says to use a torsion unloading tool and doesn't give any steps. Any advice or how-to's to replace torsion bars?

Checkout the Superlift instructions (page #4 of this PDF): http://www.superlift.com/images/9909.pdf

Essentially you use the "unloading tool" to push the key further up (the cross member & tool takes the weight) and that allows you to remove the adjustment bolt & holding block. Then you slowly lower the tension off the unloading tool & the entire key just falls out. The bars are just indexed within the key & lower control arm & slides right out after the key is removed.

Guys have used jaw pullers & even c-clamps in place of the special tool - some are rather "backwoods" lol
