Default ( bushings ? ) anyone?

My question is about possible bushings wearing away at the outer shaft
The problem is the axle is being vibrated enough to destroy the splined washer that rides behind the retaining or C clip rendering it usless therefore I end up replacing the outer shaft and splined washer retaining clip etc.
I've been told there are bushings in the backside of the hubs.

Thanx, Jim.
I will be tearing it down Thursday I will take pics to show damage

I figured it out, I tore bad side apart ,Then I tore the pass side apart and found a bearing no kidding ! I found no damage to the shaft lucky me.
