Default New rear leafs and shocks

So I just put in new leaf springs hanger shackles and shocks on my 99 four-wheel-drive 3.0. And I'm noticing that the driver side rides almost 2 inches lower and I feel like the springs are riding flat anyone know anything about this?

----------

Also, they are stock springs and the shocks are Rancho RS5126

----------

And I have noticed that it rides like a dang lumberwagon now.

Are they supposed to be installed over axle or under axle?

Without pictures it's a little hard for us to determine what might be the problem.

Idk if these help much. This is with minimal weight in the truck. Just some tools and such.

Did you get HD rear springs?

My 04 Ranger road like a brick on wheels...I had bilstein shocks, 2.5" lift blocks, and b-rated t-bars...

Those are ordinary light duty springs, not HD. Did your old ones have 2+1 leaves, just like the new ones? Maybe you replaced HD with LD? Otherwise, the photos look like everything is perfectly normal.
Compare yours to mine: http://imgur.com/a/WpQR8

BTW, springs do ALL the lifting, and shocks do not provide ANY lifting, so it's not the shocks.

My old ones looked exactly the same. I'm thinking that that is what happened since I didn't really look into. I was expecting the new springs to ride higher that the old broken set. On you're spring, although it has no weight on it, seems to ride a little higher. As in the very bottom leaf is not flat to the rest on the ends like mine it. I also have the workshop manual for my truck and looked up what the ride height should be and unless I'm measuring it wrong which I very well could me, it is riding 2" shorter than it should with new stock shocks. Also I know that shocks do not provide lift, I included that info because I did them all at the same time on the same project and wanted to get all possibly relevant info out. If these are LD, is there a way to add a leaf to make it HD?

Many options are discussed here: http://www.therangerstation.com/tech...spension.shtml

Sounds like you want to increase the height of the triangle formed by the apex and 2 eyes of the leaf spring. Add-a-leaf stiffens it, but doesn't add height. But to add height, you really want a taller spring pack. The HD pack I ordered were taller. Explorer leafs are taller than Ranger leafs. It's simpler to install taller shackles (eg. BellTech 6400). Or, switch to taller blocks, but NOT 2 blocks stacked (ie. unstable).
