Default upper control arms

i went to change upper control arms and they are different. how do i figure out which is right for my truck?

type in truck info on line and bam your upper a arms will show up

Or tell the parts guy your truck info and bam you got your upper a arms

parts guy said there are 2 different control arms. 1 with torsion bar and one without. my truck has one of each.

You should have either torsion bar or coil springs.

Here's another variable for you. Don't know the year of your truck (or anything else. make a sig so we know, ok?) but my 98 came with the two part upper right. Ford has replaced that with a one part. Both are available.

I went with the one piece because I needed the bushings as well as the ball joint.

i have a 2000 4.0. that last post helps.my right side has 2 parts and the drivers side has one. will put single ca on. thx

Go to fordparts.com and the listings will tell you this little nugget. Good site. Has dealer only items and motorcraft parts.

You need to know if you have t-bars or springs, 4 wheel drive or 2 wheel drive, year, make... You know, little details about what your truck actually is because they have different parts for different trucks.
