Default Would I need to update springs if....

I am just weighing options of dealing with a trailer or making a more drastic move.

I am considering swapping out my bed of my '02 Ranger XLT 4.0 for a flatbed and mounting equipment on it. If I were to mount 4,000 lbs of equipment, would the truck bottom out with stock springs?

Do I need duallies?

Defiantly need springs, a new axle, and something else I think the bed is only rated for 1200 pounds (+-) on the highest rated springs (k)

So basically for that weight you are trailering it

I've ordered a set of 1750lb springs, not sure if they make any heavier duty than that.

Need heavier springs, redo the leaf packs, 8.8 rearend and I would do 4.56 gears to help with all that weight.
