Question need another opinion about wheel offset

Hey, how are ya? Well, I guess all the number crunching is done and my 'day-runner' Mazda is finally on its way to getting a serious suspension upgrade.

Anyways.. The details are as follows:

Rear axle from a Ford F-150. 1986 half tonne. It's a Semi-floater (pinion angle, spring perches and shock mounts to be duplicated as I plan to mimic the 8.8 that came out of the Mazda and bolt it up) 31 spline.. ratio is 3.08. It's a limited slip.

Front I-Beam swap-out (Camburg Racings http://camburg.com/store/89-97-range...ustom-i-beams/) Look swanky. Went this route because the van i-beams looked.. complicated overly. And tig welds are sexy. New ball joints, new discs, cleaned up stock spindles when it goes back together.

Stock the Mazda has a front track (Center of wheel to center of opposite wheel) of 57"..0 offset.. rear 56" ..0 offset. FYI

Radius arms (http://www.summitracing.com/int/part...35-r/overview/) Dont know if they will be THESE specific ones.. as the lift kit coming has drop R-Bkts.. length of arms will I guess dictate where the brackets go. I am not using stock arms.. they look to me to be a bit too short.. and kinda.. wet noodly.

Swapping out stock tie rods for lengthened ones.. length to be determined at install.. fab offsite and install when complete.

4 inch suspension lift, coils.. shocks, springs. Rough-Country or superlift depending on components and price(http://www.roughcountry.com/ford-sus...it-480-20.html)

Bolt on rear traction bars (http://www.jcwhitney.com/traction-ba...x?skuId=323968) Those will do I have heard good things about these.

Changing the body mounts to POLY while I am under there also.

Wheels are as follows. (wish to retain the 1 inch Front to Rear offset as it rolls stock, not sure why I want to do this.. but I figure it was made like that.. why bother with engineering) but because of the difference between the width of the new wider front I-Beams.. combined with the width of the full size rear track THIS is where I need the second opinion.

My train of logic dictates that with some clever wheel offset calculations.. I can get things to look.. professional. (Super wide front clips and pinched rear ends just.. drive me to curse obscenities openly) But maybe I am over thinking this. I could be on track also..

Rear axle width overall.. no wheels. 65.25 (9 inches wider overall then 8.8" Ranger axle)
Front overall no wheels *ESTIMATED* at 4.5 inches over stock per side as advertised.

57" + 9" = 66" - 65.25 = 3/4" difference in track.

So...Rear wheels offset will need to be either -6.5mm (-1/4") and the fronts at 00 or the rears at 00 and the fronts at +6.5mm.. we are talking about a quarter of an inch. Is it THAT critical? Why if so?

My wheels are going to be 16s, running 35 inch x 12 tires.. Alcoas wrapped in MT's. Getting pre runner bumpers front and back, plus the fiberworkx fenders all the way around to handle clearence issues.

What kind of extension should I go with.. 4" or 6"?

I have plans that include the 5.0L/c4 3 speed install in place of the 4.0L... But for this year.. I'm going to concentrate on the suspension.. then deal with the engine trans next summer.

Thanks in advance for any info.. and if it appears I am missing something here.. PLEASE let me know. I am using the net and research to determine all of this stuff.. but I haven't attempted a build like this before and I expect to learn allot.
