Default Spindle Lift Questions

Hey guys, I've got a couple of questions and hoping for suggestions about the usual 4in (usually gives 3 inch so I've heard) spindles and 2 inch shackles... I've read through the install how to's and such and would just like some further clarification. I recently snagged a set of bfg at's with great tread in a 285/75/16 (32.8 in) and now am ready to go ahead with buying the kit once im 100% sure I wont have any major problems.

My main concerns are with the backspacing on my aftermarket wheels (Moto Metal Mo951 16x9) which have 4.53 inches of backspacing and -12mm offset, as I have looked at varying views on what backspacing will work with the new spindles. 2. From what I've read, i should probably also invest in new ball joints while I'm at it(Rock auto?)

I have all the tools needed for install besides the ball joint separator but I guess I could get a pickle fork from harbor freight. I'll have 2 or 3 buddies helping me out also. Last, anyone have any general tips for the install? Thanks!

That 4.5 backspacing should be fine. I think stock is 4.75 and i ran stock wheels on my spindles

And yes to ball joints

Update... got the drivers side almost done, but now the caliper/ brake line seems to be way to short and is unable to get back onto the rotor.. has anyone else run into these problems?

Just let the brake line hang so you have more slack? Didn't have any issues with just spindles but with the lift coils I had to unhook the brake lines from the frame so that I had more leeway.

yeah i've unbolted it from the frame but its still pretty stiff and i dont want to risk damaging the line. I guess i'll keep messing around with it

I dont think there's anyway i can get it back on without extending the lines at this point. Has anyone else had this problem with WNP spindles?
