Default Suggestions for stronger replacement shocks

So I have my ranger and after screwing around underneath it, I've realized my shocks are disgustingly rusty and expired. Does anyone have suggestions for shocks that can take a but of a beating and stiffen up the ride some? Like rancho rs5000s seem pretty good but I am very naive to this so anyone's advice would be greatly appreciated.

A lot of people go the bilistens route. They are a little more expensive but ride good. Im running pro comp shocks and they seem pretty good

Hope you are prepared to do some grinding and drilling. Your front shocks probably won't come off.

To get the stud loose put a deep socket on the nut with a long extension and rock it sideways hard. The stem will just snap off, make take a couple of tries.
