Default Ebay Spring Spacers and Shackle kit

Has anyone used the McBay Coil Spring Spacers and Shackle kits on Ebay to level their Ranger?

Would it be OK to do this and then add a 3 inch BL at a later date?

Might get what you pay for. Maybe its just me but I thought that when it came to coil spring spacers you where supposed to go polyurethane never seen any before that look like that maybe these are better but I had some polyurethane ones on my F150 and they were fine never a problem. .02

Well I just installed the the 3" front 1" rear kit on my 2010 and I'm having some issues! My truck rides real bouncy now. I'm currently trying to figure out what's going on? It is possible that it requires new upper a-arms to ride correctly??? I don't know yet but after this experience I would say save the $85 and put it toward some spindles. Don't get me wrong the kit seems to be good quality and the McBay people have good communication and are quick to respond and eager to help. I just think there is more to raising a truck then just spacers or I did something stupid (wouldn't be the first time). If I find a way to get mine right I'll let you know. I am still working on it but if I have to spend more money I'll just spend it on spindles.

Just an update: My lift kit is fine now. Turns out I needed to add approx 3/4" of spacers to the shocks because they were to short and limiting the down travel of the suspension. I rides like stock now

Sorry to bring this up again, what kind of spacers are you talking about adding? To the front shock? Like a threaded bolt extender? Any details you can give would be appreciated.

Also, How's it all now to date?

Thanks!

Yeah...After I added the coil spacers the shocks were to short so I added some spacers to the top threaded end of the shock. It's a temporary thing until I can get some new proper length shocks. Basically I just threaded some nuts to the shock until I got the height correct. Cheap and simple

Cool, Thanks!

How were the rear shocks? Did you need to give them any extra length?

I do have longer than stock ones, but not ones that were marked as lift shocks.

Monroe sensa tracks with overload springs.

I only put 1" shackles on the rear so it's still cool.
