Re: Torsion Bars
So, tell me, are the torsion bars a better ride....less maintainance.....cheaper to produce? Advantages and disadvantages?

Re: Torsion Bars
Cheap suspension, awful riding compared to coils. Advantage- easy to lift the front end a bit to level the truck out. Disadvantages- ride quality, cost of lifting the truck (unless you body lift it which looks pretty good on the rangers), also for those who go off road pretty heavy they get hung up sometimes since they hang down so low. Read around lots of info on this

Re: Torsion Bars

Re: Torsion Bars
Before I cranked my torsion bars on my 2002 4x4 supercab edge, I noticed that the driver sides bolt was cranked higher then the drivers side. Is it because of the 4x4 transmission in the front?

no its because your gas tank is on the drivers side
