Default Need some help inspecting the Ball Joints.

What is the best way to check my ball joints before i replace them? how can i tell if i need to replace the top, the bottom, or both?

Jack that tire up and shake/move the top of the tire (maybe have someone watch it move also) and then do the same for the bottom. When they need to be replaced its kind of obvious when you do it this way.

You can also check the bushing on them if there cracked open there bad if not they still got some life in them
