Stock Torsion Keys
I'm looking for a pair of stock torsion bar keys for a 99 Ford Ranger XLT. Looked online and only thing I can find is lift keys.
The keys I have now are lift keys and hate them, putting the factory keys and just going to crank them, thanks.

Re: Stock Torsion Keys
A lift key at no lift or half lift would be the same as a stock key at full crank. Why not just de-crank them...?

Re: Stock Torsion Keys
Well my other problem is that the keys are from eBay, and don't have a snug fit on the torson Key and looks like the torsion bar is just going to turn inside of the key

Re: Stock Torsion Keys
I think they are suppose to do that. We put a set of lift keys on Demons truck. The stock keys and the lift keys looked like that. I'm not 100% sure tho on that...
The T-bars were also slightly turned at the control arm, about half way. So the hex head did not line up

Re: Stock Torsion Keys
Since I'm talking about keys, if I turn my bar all the way up, my top control arm hits the frame, it didn't always used to do that until I drove to Lowes without a shock on the driver side, the side that was hitting the frame.

Eh, I thought they were pretty easy, besides the fact that the tool kept wanting to lean one way, so we used a ratchet slap and it slipped and kaboom!!!! Headshot...

Mine are easy to get out but getting the new keys in is where the problem occurs, I just have up after 3 attempts and just cranked them all the way

Re: Stock Torsion Keys
I'd just rather buy stock keys so if anyone has a pair from when they did their torsion lift, let me know
