Default Alon's A-Arm Cross members - a MUST if you offroad!

What is it!?
The lower A-Arm cross member connects the rear, lower A-Arm mounts together to prevent any frame damage from occurring. The extra cross member stiffens the front end of the truck and greatly strengthens the lower arm mounts.

Why do I need it?
The A-arm mounts stock are unsupported and are not very strong. I have measured my truck, my room mates, and Tom's trucks, and the distance between the lower arm mount have ALL been different than stock, meaning they are moving! Over time, the metal will fatigue and your alignment will come out of spec. Although rare, I have heard of and seen a lower A-arm mount on an XLT rip off the frame completely, and I have seen a torsion bar truck have mounts that were nearly 1" closer together than stock.

Will it fit my truck?
I will make these bars to order with the Bolt to bolt measurement you give me. If your truck is stock and has not gone offroad, It should measure the same as all stock trucks, however if your mounts have shifted, I will want to know the exact measurement so that no further damage will happen.

I will make bars to fit:
  • A-Arm Coil spring
  • 2WD Edge
  • All 4wd A-Arm

I still need to do some test fitting to make sure the bend (miter cut in these pics) is in the exact spot for proper clearance.

What else do I need?
Nothing! I will include 2 new locking nuts to replace the stock ones that have the tab on it.

How much is it?

The lower A-arm crossmember will be $80+ shipping ( I am not sure what it is yet)

Feel free to post up any questions if you have them, If you want one for a truck that I don't have a jig for I will make sure to get one made asap.

that's my truck in the pics, and i couldn't be happier to have it on there. it's a simple piece of security to protect your truck against irreparable damage. well worth the price IMO, other companies sell theirs for a similar price. Like Alon posted, my lower arm mounts had moved and those braces didn't fit... now i've got a custom made cross member

Let me know, but there should be nothing in the way. I will put a small bend in the tube to clear the driveshaft.

They are not my idea, they've been around in the desert scene for a while but I had a customer bring me a truck and a purchased crossmember that he bought and it didn't fit at all because his truck was already bent.

I am making them to order because these mounts DO bend over time so each truck will be different.
