I took some pictures of my front suspension and i would like yalls input. I know i need new ball joints but what else. I plan on buying a kit with new ball joints, upper control arms, tie rods. ill link it here.
Like I said in your other thread, it's hard to tell what you need from a picture (although that upper ball joint looks awful).
That kit looks like it has every wear part in the front suspension, but be careful of the quality. I try to run moog parts whenever possible. Great fit/finish and I've had great luck with them longevity wise. You pay for it though.
can you send a link as to what you would buy. I dont want to spend a ton of money. i know you get what you pay for but i would like to stay under 150.
Moog is the brand name, I don't know part numbers off the top of my head. All you mohair parts houses carry it, along with online sites like rock auto or Amazon.
Moog is usually regarded as "top of the line" as far as OEM replacement goes. I'm sure the parts you linked will get the job done. The only question is for how long. It may be 20,000 miles or it may be 100,000 miles. With moog, you can be a little more confident in the life span of the part.
You need to take a breather and search RockAuto for your truck. Look at all of the parts that come in one of the kits you've linked and individually add those parts to your cart.
If you honestly want to save money then take the time on RockAuto to compile your own "kit".
Btw, I'm pretty sure that a NEW MOOG upper control arm comes as an assembly (arm + ball joint). Those will be the biggest cost but a benefit of that premium is a reduced amount of work.

I did end up getting the parts separately from am-autoparts. I got two upper control arms with the ball joints already in. two lower ball joints and two tie rods.
