part# arm100 from rockauto.com

removed the old pin and trash the old composite unit

one of two issues i did have was the bolts where not long enough to reach the nylon threads but a easy fix with some 1/2 inch longer bolts i had laying around

2nd issue was the back needed a few light taps with a hammer to form up to the armrest again no big deal

a couple of screws and installed

unit is as solid and tight as can be and only took a 1/2 hour to do

thanks to Fx4wannabe01 and dadstruck off rps for helping me find this thing

one more note is i ordered this thing Friday and was waiting for me on Monday cant argue fast shipping

Sorry for bringing up and old but I have the exact problem but mine is on 04 Actually 2 04s

I see dorman makes a steel piece to strengthen the OEM plastic (Part number 924-834) https://www.amazon.com/Dorman-924-83.../dp/B00Z7O7UES

Does anyone know if I can use this piece on the broken stock plastic or do I need to replace the broke plastic piece and also add the steel?

I found the stock plastic piece for pretty cheap 33L5Z-10047A20-AAB

It would definitely be best to get a new plastic piece as well
