Anyone want to buy some rancho rs5000 off road shocks? All 4 for a 100$. They were only on the truck for 6 months. The ride quality is night and day compared to the stock shocks. They have great dampening characteristics. Model numbers rs5126, rear and rs5229, front.

I got new ones when I put my lift in. That's the only reason I'm selling. The only thing you'll have to get is the dust boots. There only a couple dollars though. Let me know thanks.

Ohio has its own salt flats in the winter. But yea we get some serious snow off of the lake here. Insane salt dumping. My shocks after it all and about the same time look just like I almost bought them. Those look to be a tad older then that. Sorry. Only thing I can think of is if Rancho uses a cheap paint but I highly doubt that due to their quality. If not that old show the receipt. You should still have it. I usually save mine just for the same reason that I might upgrade and would want to possibly resell.

Don't have the receipt. Didn't expect to have the money to get a lift. But I bought it in October because they were having a sale. Remember? Shocktober? Sale on Monroe and rancho shocks and struts?
If you don't want them don't buy them. I could easily re paint them if I wanted to and say they were brand new. But i didnt. they went through a harsh winter. they were put on in November and taken off in April. Simple as that.

Honestly by those pics i can agree coming from NY that my ranchos that I installed in November look similar. Mine arent as bad bc i dont drive as much but if you daily the truck that looks about right. Ranchos paint is horrible, doesnt fight any sort of moisture or salt what so ever.

IMO id just wire wheel them quick and throw a nice white coat of paint on them. Idt anyone on the forums will buy them without checking the stiffness of the shock first hand so your best bet is craigslist.
