That would look amazing if you shot it at night.

Would blind you at night. Ask me how I know.

To the OP, plinking and shooting as well as gun smithing are my life and most dedicated hobby.

Here is a pic from this weekends adventure

A full strength .357mag load - 14gr of W296 under a 158gr JFP. From a 4.25" barrel Bond Arms Derringer.

Hurt like hell (recoil into my palm, not the flame), but since then have found out how to shoot it better (press trigger with off hand index finger, so grip is lower into your strong hand).

I love to shoot and plink, as well as a bit of clay shooting. I got a 1949 Ithaca 37 with an 18.5 inch barrel and a polychoke on it a few weeks before I got my Ranger.

I leave a loaded, concealed M1895 Nagant I got when I was 16 in the cabin (legal in my state) for the lack of a better inexpensive handgun. I also have a Colt Trooper Mk. III in .357 Magnum with a six inch barrel, but I'd be too upset if it got stolen. I'm at an age where I can legally own a handgun, but I can't get ammo for it from a dealer. It really blows. But shooting, shooting will always be fun no matter my age.
