ya, its for the whole tournament overall. Miller was perfect every other game, allowing only a few goals in the whole tournament. Every other team lost at least 1 time before that game.

I beg to differ. Canada had more talent than the US but the US worked 500% harder to get there than Canada did. Sad that Canada couldnt work as hard cuz they would have ran the tournament if they worked anywhere near as hard.

i think the more superstars you have on a team, the harder it is to play as a team. Russia fell even though it was stacked. Canada struggled through a lot of the games, except against Russia, which was stacked. Canada earned this win though.

You suck! No I'm just kidding. I'm sure Canada is still partying. I guess I don't mind that Canada won. I just hate it that Crosby scored the goal. I'm Wings fan, and we hate Penguins. Although I wonder what they taste like?

I know, look how many NHL players were on the eastern European country's teams. All good stars in the NHL. But yet they struggled.

This has to be one of the best played games of hockey I've ever seen. You know why? PRIDE!. No money, no egos, PRIDE OF COUNTRY!

Why do you think the World Cup is such a big deal . These players are playing for pride of country. They get paid but it's more about nationalism.

I don't think the World Baseball classic has figured that out yet.

FIBA has gotten better but then again look who send over to play for us. The big stars. BUt it's not about the money. It's about the uniform.

Perfectly said! Thats also why college sports are so much better than the pros. They play because they love to!

But the women did it first try...which proves, your women play harder than your men.

hehe i loved all the matches, women and men.

I'm canadian, so i rooted for the canadian men's team to win. This year i was nervous since canada didn't pick the best, but went for a lot of lesser known players, risky move.

In the end, i'm glad it went US vs Canada, it's a good rivalry.

Good matches indeed. Maybe next time we will win, probably not...Sure yall will just train harder so something like this doesnt happen again.
