Default 2013 Hunting Season

Went out today to my property in Rockdale County Gerogia today (in my ranger of course). It's about 117 acres of pure woods and a huge granite opening in the middle. But man! The amount of coyote tracks was ridiculous! I went out to scout for some tracks and check on the spot i'm killing for a food plot and blind I'm about to set up heres just a few pics.. And found a freaking cactus in the middle of the woods lol. It was a bit odd...

Went up about a week ago and planted my first food plot since baiting is now legal in Georgia! Here's some pics after a week.

It goes from from what I started with, after I clear it out with a lot of weed eating, and after a week of being planted.

Damn! Big ole boy! Lol. Is baiting legal in Michigan? It's only legal in georgia in the "southern zone" which is just the bottom half of the state. It's stupid, I'm a county north of the line so I say screw that, I hunt over my plots. Lol.

We can bait as soon as season starts, but it is heavily regulated. I plan to hunt on a pond/food plot/scrape, heavy heavy brush/bedding (no one is in there at all during the rest of the year, and then a passage way from bedding to feeding

Also a pic of my plot rig (atv is my borrowed lol)

My boss (a farmer) worked up the side of my pond and we put a variety seed in there, red zone honey hole, bucks 'n birds, fall winter spring mix (all made by antler king), then radishes and some rye and wheat seed.

Same with my old one and a ladder stand, but my name is written in and out on this camera. This time the camera was set toooo sensitive and the friggin wind would set it off i had 1,8xx pics of nothing and about 150 of deer.

I wouldn't have the patience to go through all of those. Lol. Mine was just set up on my plot so I didn't have wind problems with the brush and what not.
