SNOWMOBILES!!!!!!!!!

My 1974 John Deere JDX-6, 1971 Auto Ski 440 Avenger, and 1972 Olympique:

Still runs like a DEERE!

My dad left his old JDX4 out by the barn and it was in pretty bad shape, but I have it running(barely) right now. Just not enough time to completely fix it up.

Nice collection of vintage sleds there ^^ My buddy growing up had a JD 300, had boggy wheels only, no sliders so we would ride that thing year round. That was a fun sled.

Lol, there's nothing more fun (or more frustrating) than a vintage sled. I definitely have a soft spot for John Deere sleds.

Thanks man.

Yeah, fast as shit. And it's not just the speed, it's how fast they accelerate. When I was passing cars on the highway, I had to stop for a cross road. One car passed me (he was going 60mph) and I caught him and passed him within probably 6 seconds at most. Really rips the arms outta the sockets if you aren't careful lol.

They ain't cheap. Thats why I've never had anything other than vintage sleds. You need to have 3 or 4 of 'em, that way at least one should be running!

I've got a 1999 440 sno pro with a 1999 zr 700 motor in it, clutched and geared, rebuild 300 miles ago, I think 5 inch risers. It's a really fun sled. Supposed to be 450lbs but I think 465ish with the 700 in it. I also got a 1976 cheetah 5000, don't have any pictures of it though.

yeah my old ride was a 1983 motoski. 340 fan i believe it was. still have it, and it still fires up, but its so beat up. two seasons ago i was in some deep stuff with it (well, deep for that sled) and she started throwing sparks. not sure from where, but the underside of the hood is all black, and there were flames at one point shooting out of the hood louvers. was interesting to say the least lmao.

wanted something more reliable i could count on to get me home after a 200 mile ride, and i wanted something that wouldnt get stuck in 2 foot of snow. so i got my beast, and been loving every second of it. even though it still only has 250 miles on it. still brand new.
