wanted something more reliable i could count on to get me home after a 200 mile ride, and i wanted something that wouldnt get stuck in 2 foot of snow. so i got my beast, and been loving every second of it. even though it still only has 250 miles on it. still brand new.
For sure! It's so nice to have a reliable sled. I had a similar situation happen once with the John Deere, the fan came loose and was sparking pretty bad the whole way home. I found out I forgot to put the lock washer back on when I replaced the belt. lol!

95 Enticer II longtrack 410. Just installed new carbides, skins and a 1" camoplast to replace the factory 1/2" rubber. Pulls like a diesel and kills powder like a mtn sled. I wish they had put the Phazer 488 engine in this thing from the factory! Looking for a set of VK540 plastic skis to lighten up the front end. My only bitch about this sled is that the ski stance is too wide to fit in between the wheel wells on the ranger with the boxliner and the new skins. Maybe I'll try the back-in thing posted above. How stable is that with all the weight that far at the back??

Trail pic from last year, haven't taken any action ones with the new track yet.

Yeah im really thinking this is the end of IL's season. ^ plastic skis probably wont tighten up the steering, take a look at your rod ends that is what helped my sled the most and I have plastic skis with the updated knuckles from polaris

If that was at me, I said lighten, not tighten. Those metals skis are heavy and my only complaint is that the sled nosedives a bit in deep pow

I love hitting fresh powder with mine and it bogs a little but it runs like a raped ape on packed trails
