I've shot a few. NYS laws suck big time. Its illegal to even hold a handgun if you don't have a permit.

i aint got my permit (yet) considering im only 18 but i plan on gettin it when i turn 21

No exaggeration. It is a law. Now, if I were caught by a LEO shooting a friends gun safely I doubt anything would come of it, but technically it IS a law.

its the oposite here, you can walk down main street with a .45 strapped to your hip as long as its in plain veiw, but if you want to conceal it you have to take the CCW coarse and get approved by the state to conceal it.

im just sayin that if i was a criminal and saw someone carrying a gun in plain view i would automatically know i dont need to mess with him/her but if they are concealed i wouldnt know and...
