I actually never have. I've heard of it.
I applaud you for assuming everyone else learned an old saying from a movie made a little while ago...because you did.
Kudos

Well considering that movie was made about 10 years ago I don't think that qualifies as a "little while ago". Let's see 10 years ago, that made you what... 6? Plus I didn't realize that was an old phrase.... Hmmm. Go figure. Literally tossed that on google and everything referenced that movie, so I'm gonna say...it's pretty well only known for that movie.

Re: The mountain biking thread!
My dad said that for years. And I was much older than that kiddo. Just take a chill pill. You seem to be the one who wants to make an argument. It's an old saying, if all you know is Google...it's before your time.
And 10 years is nothing once your older, I had no idea when the movie was made. Glad to see you'll Google a bunch of stuff and continue an argument...instead of just reading back. What exactly did I do wise guy? I wasn't talking to you regardless. Again...I said something generally about a FS over hardtail to someone else whom misinterpreted it and needed a butthurt form.
Enlighten me

I tried to get this thread on track more than once...and you just derail it. Not me

not to start or add to the arguement. but modern fat bikes with the newer lighter tires are actually quite easy to ride. at first i thought they would be horrible as well but, they can prove to be quite fun. granted your aren't going to get that with a 300 dollar fat bike, but try one in the 1000 dollars and up range and they are a blast.

Just getting back into riding, a little cross county trek a couple nights ago, 14kms of up and downs, image-20040291.jpg Then hit a local 20km trail that goes from my town to the next one, did it with my sister and I was on a single speed dirt jumper.... Lol
