In all seriousness since I loathe any sports teams from new york OR boston the game was EXCELLENT! I think brady did exactly what he needed to to get the patriots back to their side of the yard, as far as Gronkowski goes I don't think ANYBODY could have made that catch. The announcer said it best, if the ball had been tipped up another 12 inches it would have been a different outcome.

Yeah, I'm with him. I can't stand teams from Boston, or NY. But, If I had to choose between the two it would be the giants.

eli manning is not a great QB, he may be a good QB, but far from great.

Both teams played good, I don't think anyone got "outplayed" Brady was not beat down by the pass rush in sb42, but the pats should have won the game if welker makes that catch on the 20 it would have been lights out. All the fumbles that the pats d forced but couldnt recover; tons of plays they normally make, Gronks injury was a factor; a couple of stupid penalties, game opening safety; and after all that they still had a chance to win the game, I feel these teams are extremely close as far as game play and always keep it close; Eli and the Giants just have been able to make that final play to win it and the Pats haven't. That was one hell of a hail Mary; i thought Gronk was going to make that ridiculous catch when I saw him diving for it very close game. On a side not I must say every SB that the Pats play in have been great games to watch so if haters wouldn't want to see another rematch of these teams next year, you'd be crazy.

Why is is that Boston sports fans always wanna flame their competition when they get fairly beat. Its this simple: Eli made the plays to win the game... Brady didnt. In fact... Brady commited a intentional grounding in the end zone (safety) and had a pick. Manning: Flawless. He was the calmer, cooler, more clutch in the most important game of the season and his life... that puts him in the elite category in my book. He might not ave made the "highlight reel plays" that Brady and other elite QBs get known for, but he did keep his composure, didnt try to force the ball, and stayed mistake free. Hence why he is holding the trophy in the above pic and not Tom.

Brady and the Patriots had ample time and oppurtunity to win the game with their final drive. Brady tried forcing the plays. In all 6 of those last :57 seconds of the game he had an open man somethere but he chose to force it into his superstars to put the (!) in a potential win. Manning just stuck to the script. Period

I could not have said it better SilverFrost ! So very true as it was the least mistakes !!!It was one of the best games I had seen in a LONG time . Welker made that catch a thousand times , Gronk was not at his best but He was awesome also . Oh , and wasn't this a rebuilding year for us ? Didn't anyone stop to consider this team is fairly new on defense mostly , but a few offensive players as well ,, with a bunch of no names and rookies ? ? After the dust settles , review the Defense on both teams and you will be in for a really big surprise . Guess who had the better stats ? So the D was good ... Also , Look at Brady's stats and where He is . Look at Eli and He has 2 superbowls . He is NOT an elite quarterback . Yes a VERY lucky quarterback that had a couple of good catch receivers that were lucky . Elite quarterbacks have the records and stats to prove it . Brady has tied or beaten Joe ( one of the BEST ) Montana and He is not over yet . I think He still has a year or 2 left .

I was at Gillette Stadium today when they came in and not ONE of them wanted to talk about the game , thats how they feel about losing . They all walked off their buses , with family and friends , got in their cars , and didn't even want to talk about it . I was inspired by what I saw . Belechik and Craft were supposed to have a news conference later . They will be back and I'll bet next year , even better ! Awesome bunch of guys !!!

When the ball hits your receivers hands and they drop it I wouldn't call that forcing it. If Manningham dropped that catch would you say that Eli forced it, it'd be a simple drop. Welker and Hernandez weren't double or triple covered on their respective plays so I don't think you can just say Brady forced; they just dropped it. Bottom line: giants made the catches and the pats didn't
