I see your from Wisconsin, where do you hunt? The dnr cant make up their mind if there are a lot of deer or not. Last year my zone(62a Portage county) only had 1,200 doe tags for sale and this year we have unlimited amount of tags for sale and their only $2.00.

I've been shooting all the time now and a local club has a weekly 3d shoot, it has like 25 different targets and you walk through the woods and they all vary in distances it's really good practice and a lot of fun.

i have been out at the bow range for 4 hours at least every day for the last 2 weeks and took off all day yesterday and spend 12 hours out getting everything fin tuned. i have 23 days till i am out in the stand. i will deff be out for rifle season, we have to break the 30 deer record we had 2 years ago. and if you are slapping you arm with the string, u need to fix your grip or get the bow properly sized.

yea we have been having problems with cougers the last 5 or so year the DoC will not admit the are breeding here but we have found babies a few times, and it has only been the last year or so that they have even admitted that they are in missouri. but we have been seeing them, one ran a friend out of his tree stand during bow season and i had one run about 60yrds in front of me in a field, scariest moment of my life, all i had was a shot gun.
