Lucky. We can shoot deer in the back country right now, but the back country is about a 4 hour drive from me and they aren't in rut yet here. Otherwise, it's either bow now or wait until october 22nd. My buddy can go bow hunting, and we are going out tomorrow, but I can't since I didn't take the stupid class this year, so shot gun and camo for me tomorrow, lol.

Bow hunters safety. Everybody born after 1985 has to take a class in both general (rifle season) and bow hunters safety (although the bow hunters safety is required for anybody wanting to bow hunt no matter what age they are) depending on which you want to hunt. Then afterwards, you get a card saying you passed that you have to show EVERY YEAR to the people you buy the tags from.
