This is not professional fighting, it's amateur. It's not like there is a list of fighters flying around for you to check out. Sometimes fighters don't have gym trainers either so finding out about them is kind of impossible especially if they are new and they aren't well known yet. The best you can do in most cases is take the word of fighters in the circuit who might have seen them fight before. Hell even the individual trainers lie about their own fighters just to make a fight happen. There are also a lot of times when you don't even know who you're fighting until the night of the fight! If a fighter doesn't show up and you're not already on the fight card you can be called the day of the fight and asked to fill in if you are in the right weight class. My last fight was like that. I got a call while I was at work at 1pm and was asked to fight that night and to be at the weigh in at 4pm. I had no idea who my opponent was until 3 hours before the actual start of the event.

I might look small and yes, I'm a chick, but I shoot, throw, hit, and hunt. I highly suggest you don't mess with my truck!
