not really! it takes a thick skined player to make it in NY,and he probley new he did not fit the bill!.Now as far as the yankees pitching goes they need good arms! most of their pitchers are in there upper 30's and they need to get younger.But when george was alive he nevered waited he always traded the young player to get a vetern pitcher now he dead and his kid dosent want to go that way like his father did that why the yankees are in the shape thir in 2011 will not be a good season for them.

Cliff Lee is not that good of a pitcher! (look up his stats) so why at 34 years old give him a contract for so many years? thats just like ripping up money! given his back problems so the Philles are on the hook for thoes years,as his ages not a good bet.
