that's what I'm saying...their answer is to bring in these foreign guys and give them a swing, but they haven't done a whole lot except wreck. Look at Montoya...the main thing he's done is wreck a lot of people. Also, they are moving the sport away from its southern roots..and you see how well that's working for them as they get more and more empty seats...oh well //end thread hack

Well that is actually good. I would never watch nascar because it's kind of boring watching them go in a big circle with only one type of turn.

Ask any true NASCAR fan, they will typically be with me in being pissed that they are making the sport not about the race, but about the show and because they are driving the ticket prices up. They would also give almost anything to kick out the road courses. Not many watch them because they "aren't really a race." Also, I know I would give anything to give up the road courses to have the tracks like Rockingham and North Wilkesboro back in the schedule. I don't watch the road course races because they are boring. If I watch F1 then yeah, its a good race, because they are meant to drive left AND right. Fact of the matter is that when you take a 3k lb car meant to turn left, it doesn't work well....sorry about the rant haha

Amongst things unique to F1 type race cars like extreme cornering G's, braking, accelerating,etc. the motors are quite something. Here is some info. Notice revs are LIMITED to 18,000RPMS!!!

I used to watch formula 1, but now that I'm building an engine with as much power as one from formula 1, I have no time.

Also fuel for that engine costs as much as formula 1 fuel, so that sucks too!
