I don't what's the big deal with the weather. I mean they have the playoff games outside so why not the Super Bowl? Yeah i know you pay the big bucks but don't pay if your gonna complain right?

NFL caved to Northern cities that were left out because naturally everyone wants an ideal weather day. Ironically, I heard that the coldest SB to date was the 70' one in New Orleans before they received a dome. Game temp was 39. With this projected weather, records of all kinds might be set.

That shows the babying of sports today, however, 30's is one thing. Negative wind chills and heavy snow are dangerous for everyone.

I don't think the SB will be moved because it would take a natural catastrophe or everyone involved will be upset. Can you imagine having tickets, a room, etc and learning that the game was rescheduled? It would be a nightmare!

Hawks won 43-8 who would have see that coming.

Very true, but the SB is all about hype and unlike other sports, only one game exists. It isn't like baseball, where their is a series championship, and this winter has been worse than normal. Fans do like to get babied in nice weather. I wonder how Seattle or Denver would have reacted if the weather were like last week with bitter wind chills and drifting snow. But, we will never know. I thought that it was ironic that the coldest SB was actually New Orleans before they received a dome. Sportscaster said 33 or something was the coldest temp to beat.
