Default Son shooting his .243

Took my son out to shoot his .243 again today, The very first time was okay he hit the target but no where close. These were all done at 50 yard. He is getting amped up for deer season in a few weeks.

The target was not posted like this. If you rotate it clock wise the left was at the top. toward the end he started trying to get the two small targets. Which he came really close.

Awesome!
You have a youth season in your state or are you taking him regular season?

He is only 8 and youth hunt is from 10-15. he is allowed go 2 days the week before adult hunting as long as he is with a licensed hunter.

Once he is 10 he will have to take a hunter safety course and then can go by him self.

The 10-15 year olds get a full week before audlts. It may be 16 but I cant recall.

That's awesome
I would have loved that lol
Anyone under 16 here gets 2 days a week before muzzleloading usually and 2 days in December, usually the last 2 days

Didn't own my first gun till I was 31 went for the first time ever last year deer hunting.
I blame the gun collection on co workers they got me into it.

Just goes to show you its never too late to get started. Can make for some great memories, whether hunting or just out shooting.
