Default Truck Meet (Texas)

Hey everyone, just thought I would throw this out there as a possibility. I am real interested in "car" meets just to see what everyone else has, show off, and maybe help each other out. Im Texas based, so I figured I would see if anyone is interested in doing an occasional Truck meet at a central location. For right now, traveling to other states isn't an easy possibility, so I guess im throwin this out to you other Texan's out there. Let me know what you guys think, maybe Austin, San Antonio, or something like that could be arranged as a meeting place. Maybe one day if we get enough truck enthusiasts out there to join in, we can make this a National annual event.

Thanks.

Sounds cool to me ! I live 60 miles east of Dallas, Tx. and always thought it would be nice to divide tx into 4 groups NW,NE,SW,SE have a club in each area then have a central meet a couple times a year. Just a dream but would be nice ! LOL !

Been in Texas 2 years, never once driven to Austin. I'll have to make a trip out tomorrow and check it out. And Dick's is an awesome restaurant, maybe if we get enough people we could make a Ranger trip or something... If it escalates, I know a few "hill country" trips to take with some very tight turns and steep slopes. Paved though... (Rt 16 between Bandera and Kerrville)

my truck doesn't do tight turns and steep slopes..

I'll have to bring my step dads RX8 down if you want to play that game. I have tomorrow off, i gotta run to Airgas and get my CO2 and O2 bottles filled, then put a new rear window in, besides that I'm free till about 5 if you wanna come up to Austin.. I was in SA a few weeks ago, I'll be down there again saturday.
