I've never been pulled over for them and even if you do just say you thought it was okay because their blinkers and not extremely important for due to the fact they are in the front and not your tails or head lights...... one cop tried to get me for it but he was just talking smak and let me go.... I used vht night shade.... I have pictures up in one of my albums on how I did it..... I wouldn't suggest it if you go trail riding cuz the paint is a magnet to trees. I also used clear gloss over it to match the grill
