My suggestion is that we meet up in Gadsden, it would be a pretty central location for those coming from northern Al. and a secondary route for those in the middle part of the state to keep from having to hit 20 then trying to fight Atl. traffic on 285.
As I've stated I lived in Ga pretty much all my life, so here is the route I'd take (just my .02).
From Gadsden I'd run HWY 278 over to Cedartown Ga and on to Rockmart. From Rockmart hit HWY 113 to Cartersville. Once in Cartersville you have two options, Interstate 75 or HWY 41. INT 75 gives no red lights, and keeping everyone together would be easier but you'd have to run pretty much wide open to keep from getting run over. Not knowing the condition of everyone's trucks, I'd opt for option 2.
Option 2: HWY 41 = direct shot to Kennesaw. Only problem here is red lights. Like I said it's a straight shot on 41, but if we have a long string of trucks the lights WILL seperate us. The other advantage to HWY 41 is that it's won't be as hard a drive on the trucks. Speeds on 41 USUALLY are contained to 65, and these spots are few versus 75 which is like the final 3 laps a Talladega all the time.
I'm not trying to ram this down anyone's throats as the final deal by no means, so if there are any other suggestions post'em up.

Either option is fine for me...you just have to have someone who knows what there doin lead..lol!! if light turns red pull over till they catch up....goin down interstate and people are following? lead truck turns blinker on and rear truck is first one to move over...ect.ect...lol!!

well keep in mind too some people have a few to several hr drive home and it would suck to break or tweak something the wrong way and be out of a truck home till repairs are made...so we need to keep it to light wheelin if any at all.

If we all decide to go the route I pitched, I'll Mapquest out the route and print off copies to give out. This way even if we get REALLY seperated that will give everyone a hard copy to fall back on.
