I've never been to one either. But on the XLT portion, I LOVE my XLT. I wouldn't trade it for anything right now. I personally recommend it, but if it doesn't fit your driving needs I would get something else.

It'll EASILY fit me driving needs and after some part repairs/replacements/upgrades, it'll be BETTER.
I didn't buy it to toss it and it's not for off road use in the sense of trail blazing.

The 2013 nc meet should include 2wd rangers as well. Won't be able to use the ORV trails, but there is plenty places to camp an meet up down there. I just camped by Badin lake about a week ago with my ranger.

Agreed. I intended to be lifted soon but would never drive my truck down those trails. I've been there...trust me. Heck I was on my bike last time. As a beginner, not a great idea but managed not to die so all is good I guess.
