ya just tryin to get a nice meet together. i think near the top of this page or the previous page there is a picture of florida and the places circled are places people have suggested and that we are talking about mabye going. when it gets closer to the time we would go we would pick the easiest places for everyone. we are talking about going some time in januray/febuary. age is but a number and nothin wrong with being a family man! any one is welcome

well drew i check out those links and they are pretty neat. the redneck place is like 3 hrs away from me so thats pushing the distance but if we do i will have to do. that other one is cool to but out of those the only one i would really be able to do it the ocala like we talked about. being 16 it might be hard to get my parents to let me go to far. o and the redneck place it iffy cus there might be sum street guys that would never be able to go. i stiill like ocala out of all the things we have talked about

I know this meet is in the early planning stages but wanted to throw my two cents in the hat.....

1) Because the temps are cooler I vote for Jan. or Feb.
2) Pick a location that has decent camping sites. Some folks may not be able to afford a hotel. And besides, if I drive 4+ hours to Ocala, I want to be somewhat comfortable. 3) Pick a location that will be good for offroaders and those who can't or choose not to.
4) Lay down some ground rules regarding alcohol, drugs, firearms and, if offroading, vehicle safety. This may sound silly, especially to you younger guys and gals, but a bad accident isn't funny.
4) I'm not to hip on the Redneck Yacht Club location. It seems like a crazy place where everyone just drives back and forth through a big mudhole. Plus, if I read the web site correctly, it costs $30 for a day pass!

very good information doug!!! yes we have said we are all wanting to do jan/feb so its cooler. i havent been to ocala but i imagine they have good camp sites. yes i think the rules are good thing to have to. i would say pretty much no achohal being 16 and parents would like to see guys agree with that umm i havent looked into it but i think guns out in ocala are not really allowed but i think shaun would know. no on drug for sure. i think offroading shouldnt be to hard if we do that but we could talk about it. true that and that place is knda far for me anyway. o and yes i deffinetaly think that it needs to be able to be street truck friendly. i think ocala is somewhat ok for that.

Guns are permitted, but I do ask that we not fire them for sport in front of any children/wives, unless it's okay with the wives. If we have this meet in Ocala, and play around in the ONF, we'll definitely need some weaponry should any wildlife problems arise.

Just be sure to follow all area gun regulations and practice gun safety. I'm sure nobody wants to leave the meet with a ticket of any kind from the fellas at the FWC or DEP.
