Default Trail Ride in Citrus WMA FL - All welcome

Getting the ball rolling on my clubs next trail ride. This event will be held on August 16th. We will meet on Haven St. in Inverness FL at 10 am. I will put a link the the Clubs FB page and event. Check it out and consider it. There is pictures from our last trail ride there on the FB page if you're curious what it's like. Had everything from bone stock tacoma to two Rubicons on 37's last trail ride.

Haven't figured it out why its such a problem getting people on here to go on trail ride. Gotta imagine someone lives in Central Florida or near Tampa that would want to go trail riding.

I have one of those "one" wheel drive trucks in very stock form so I would need a lot of pulling out, but I might come by if I'm not working.

You're right there close, aren't you? Do you ever drive around the WMA?

Well it's pretty sweet of a place. Lot of trails. If I lived near there in high school I certainly would have!

Haha my group doesn't go out and trash our trucks or jeeps. Do a lot of technical stuff and just have fun. I understand what you're saying but we don't general get that nasty. Not the mud club, the trail riding club.

I tore my truck up trail riding. lol. Bent a rim, bent the rear control arm mount, blew the transmission, and snapped the rack and pinion in half.

I think I just expected a little too much out of the truck. lol.

Lol jeezz. Well yeah that sounds like a bit much. Should come out and have some fun without tearing things up on the 16th

It was $3000 worth of damage. It would have been more had I just rebuilt the automatic instead of ditching it and swapping in a 5-speed. I'm not looking to ever do that again.

That's a lot of cash. I saw your thread about the transmission swap, very thorough and professional. That mean you're not coming out in the 16th?

Yea I know. I really was not happy having to spend that much money on the truck. But I do like the 5-speed a lot more, so at least that part worked out well.

Nah, I'm too chicken to trail ride with the truck now. I only go out now if friends get stuck.

If you guys do any kind of a before hand get together at Walmart or something next time you decide to trail ride in the forest, I'll show up for that at least.

I'll try to get out there. My deal is still on 14" wheels and passanger car tires. That's why I say gets stuck in wet grass!
