Re: Oklahoma Rangers!
Hey man, welcome to the club!
I haven't been on in a while, lots of stuff been going on here lately that has taken priority over net-time and fun meets and such. I was lucky enough to meet with Munki once before my schedule went to hell though.
If anyone wants to try another meet up I'm down.
RednekSoldier, I see from your profile that your in the CB/Ham radio group here. You a Ham operator?

Re: Oklahoma Rangers!
nah, just happen to have a cb in the truck. I always run with it on, though. Never know what you will pick up. Rescued a guy in CO while we were out trailing. Just happened to pick him up on the cb. He had gotten lost and got waaaay off of the beaten path and ended up stuck. He said he was waiting around for 3 days hoping that someone would find him. If he hadn't had a radio, we never would have found him either. I offered him some MRE's that I had in the truck. I never seen someone so happy to eat one of those! But if you're hungry enough they taste great. Got him un-stuck and back into town. Have had the cb running ever since.

Just say when and where. My schedule is clear for a while so I should be game anytime.

Re: Oklahoma Rangers!
Hey guys, been lurking around the forum for a couple weeks. Just found this thread. Ranger's in the sig. Have a Kenwood KDC-X595 on its way from Crutchfield. Other than that, nothing much planned....just new wheels maybe. Anyways, Hello. I am located in the south Tulsa area.

The rear end on that one is an open differential, so any 80w90 gear oil will do fine. To change it, you just remove the bolts in the inspection cover and pry the cover back to drain it. The cover may be stubborn. Then, clean the gasket or silicon off of the mating surfaces of the cover and the gear housing. Apply a light coat of silicon to the cover's mating surface and re-install cover and bolts. Remove the plug in the cover and fill with oil until it runs out of the plug hole, and re-install the plug.
Is that an automatic or manual trans?

Re: Oklahoma Rangers!
Not from Oklahoma but we drove down to Tulsa a couple years ago to attend my brother's graduation from Rhema Bible. I like your state. Most of the people I met were friendly.

Wait. What? I like to think that I have a little bit of the cowboy spirit in me. I like sittin' by a fire and enjoyin' the nature that God gave us.
