Instead of ordering all of this stuff I found a 79 bronco part out with nice buckets and shock mounts it all looks usable and I'm gonna get it cheap
It also has a pretty big shackle drop thing on the rear leafs I'm gonna grab that to

Has anyone ever swapped a full size 8.8? I'm having a hard time with my brake lines it seems they aren't long enough to go on the shoes

Replace the hard lines on the axle. Most part stirs stock bend it your self lines with 3/8 fittings and the correct flares.

Thing is it isn't dumb things you are making a street queen which means its not your life, but everyone else on the road when your ghetto-fab spring perch fails and you either lock the rear or loose the rear.
Make proper spring perches or buy some. The photo makes it look like you have roughly a 4-5" piece of flat steel welded to the axle with stacked blocks above it. I am hoping there is a hole for a centering pin in there. First off stacked blocks even on a street truck are stupid, plain and simple. Ditch the stacked blocks and run a shackle, run a single block or better yet proper leafs.

$34 so not exactly breaking the bank and about a million times safer. I am not worried about the metal breaking your design of the perch sucks.
