Sas
I'm looking to do a SAS on my 08. I'm sick of not being able to find a big suspension lift for it. I only have a body lift right now but my next step is gonna be a lot bigger. I wanna clear 38's. I also don't kno if I should put a leaf setup on it. I don't want it to drive like a board either( even tho it's gonna be worse anyways). So could I get a complete d30 from a wrangler and make it happen or would I need a d44 to do the leaf setup. I kno if I want it taller it will be a lot more tippy. Anyone have good opinions? Thanks

Re: Sas
It all depends what your budget is. We can give you our opinions, but you gotta tell us what you want. What will you use it for? Will it see a lot of rock climbing? Mall-crawling? Details mayne

Re: Sas
Ok. 38's are gonna be too big for that d30. the d30 would be okay for 33's, MAYBE 35's, but thats pushing it.

You can run 38's on a D30. You would need to truss the axle and get chromoly axle shafts. And I recommend a coil spring especially since it is you DD. I run 35's on my D30 for almost 3 years and no problems, except for the stock xj steering sucks, but that is getting taken care of this week.
