I reciently stated to take care of the surface rust underneath my ranger. Well I was doing that I noticed my shocks where shot and need to be replaced. So I'm wondering what are good quality shocks under 50 a piece for both front and rear

Thanks and I was Acatually looking at pro comp shocks but I didn't want to get them till I got more opinions

It depends what you want. Just to let you know KYB's are much stiffer than the pro comps.

just got a good deal on four Pro Comp ES 3000's at 4wheel parts (dust boots extra)

Sweet! I dont know if you did, but I would say do not put on the dust boots. They trap dirt in the boot, and once that happens the dirt continues to push into the shock and destroy the valves.

No, I havn't installed them yet. I've never heard anyone mention that issue but I'll check into it. thanx
