Default what leaf springs to use?

I think this question has been asked a few times but I cant find any of the threads, So I'll ask again . I got a leaf sprung d30 and a 8.8 rear for my 83 ranger and was wondering what leaf springs work best for the front? I want to go cheap as possible so I'll be pulling them from a junk yard. I was thinking about getting rear leafs from either an f150 or a Chevy half ton. I found a set of front leaf springs from a full size wagoneer for 40 bucks on craigslist but I didn't know if they would work very well. thanks for any help.

I tried Jeep wrangler leafs on the front of my '03 at first. When I let it down off of the jack, it bent them backward. Not sure what the weight difference is between yours and mine, but mine weighs about 4300. I ended up going with the Heavy duty wagoneer springs. There are 2 different versions of the wagoneer front springs, 5-leaf and 7-leaf. Mine are the 7-leaf.

thanks, I ended up going with some f150 rear leafs. all I have left to do is make a drive shaft and lift the back to match the front and get some new tires.
