Default SAS - 1 Year down the line

OK, just some background - I am from South Africa, the trucks we get here compared to the states are small, very small... None the less, I drive a 2005 model ford ranger 2.5TD with some mods...

Drivetrain: Upgraded rear diff to the Gearmax M89 (local equivalent of the ford 8.8") with 4.56 Diff ratio, Front diff is from a toyota Land Cruiser, diff locks front and rear... Front has coils, leafs in the rear. Engine-wise just fitted a bigger intercooler and had the pump optimised...

We did the SAS conversion a little over a year ago and to date no issues, on-road handling is good, off road it is unstoppable... some pics of the suspension flex attached, and it is loads of fun to drive

Yes, 2.5 turbo diesel motor... a bit old tech, no common rail or electronics, but great for taking into the wildernis

It looks great! By the way, someone put the steering wheel on the wrong side of your truck! :-P

Nice! Those sure do look different over there than the ones here in USA as far as body styling.

It's because they are different! The international Rangers are based off of the Mazda B-Series, whereas it's the other way round over here in the states.
